|CSU-Stanislaus-Professional Schools Building & Distance Learning Center ($14.0 million)
This project involved an interconnected, two and three-story building complex of over 300 rooms. The facility also contains a separate Lecture and a Distance Learning Center. The project was noted as the last Charles Moore, FAIA public sector and educational facility. The Tiburon Group provided schedule reviews, claims avoidance consultation and administrative support for the construction of the new facility.
CSU Stanislaus Educational Services Facility ($24.0 million)
On this challenging project the Tiburon Group provided Project Controls, Scheduling and Claims Avoidance and Mitigation Services on this visible and complex project on the California State University campus at Stanislaus. The building provides office space for a variety of administrative services for students as well as for various administrative functions for the University and the Office of the President. The project consisted of two, three story wings connected by an atrium enclosed by a curved natural light ceiling. The two wings enclosed offices and conference rooms and a connected Conference Center. Structural Steel building frame is on spread footings with a building skin of stainless steel shingles and glass fiber reinforced concrete. The facility also incorporates a basement with University Print Shop. Further, the building systems incorporated temporary and permanent de-watering systems.
